    Ticket

My friend got a ticket for no insurance, but it wasn't her car. It was her dead beat uncle who she was DD.

In one traffic stop he got arrested for not paying previous tickets, and she got a no insurance ticket.

Anyway the ticket can get wiped from her record or moved to his? Or is she just screwed? Her uncle is gonna pay it, but its still on her record.

    In Texas btw.

      Get a lawyer!

Why would you come to OS for legal advice?

        Dudes name is olliethebum.

You think he's got funds to hire a lawyer for his friends. Maybe he was just hoping lawyers like video games too.

I hate when people say that: "Why did you come to OS for this?"

Because maybe someone has been in a similar situation and maybe the OP trusts the people on the board to give him decent advice/knowledge. Keep in mind, there are some lawyers and policemen lurking around the boards.

I'm sure he's not going to simply only ask the question on OS. I'm sure he's asking friends and someone in the situation will seek legal advice.

But a message board is always a good start... no time limit on the answer, TONS of people see the question, and you can get a variety of answers.

Yeah he was just asking a question. It's not like this is the only place he is going for legal advice.

I come here for a lot of advice. I have at least 5 threads asking for homework help.

If she was driving the car, she needs to have her own insurance policy. If she was driving with out insurance that is her fault not the dead beat uncle.
