All that show is, is an "Expose a Ho" show because if they gotta test 3-4 dudes to find out who the father is when you(female)should know who it is, then you're basically telling a National TV audience that you're a "Ho".

I think they were married but separated when she made the appearance. We actually recorded the episode on tape and he came to our house for a copy because he was going to use it in court against her because they were in a custody battle for the kids. Unfortunately, we couldn't find the tape.

My cousins ex wife went on the Jerry Springer show one time, and from what I was told....some of the things she said, she was told to say to make the story juicier.

Yeah, they could be gross exaggerations of real stories.

You know what's sad, I remember when these were serious real shows. Maury , Donahue and others. I guess thats why Oprah is so successful because she stayed away from that. Mark Walberg had a show, I went with the girl i was dealing with at the time. NOT as a participant, lol, as a studio member. I said a little piece and got my 3 minutes of TV time. But it wasn't as ridiculous as they are now although towards the end they seemed to be headed there.

I'm lucky enough to have History Channel International on my cable system. That network actually shows history-related programming for the most part.

I used to love a show called "Year-By-Year" that was on The History Channel about ten years ago. They would show old newsreels and reports of various major events that took place in a given year. It was interesting stuff.

Maybe I was just watching at the wrong times, but in the two occasions I've checked that channel out, I saw a show about whether Pluto should be a planet and a show about how the Sun is going to destroy us all someday.

I'd also have to say, in the small portion of that graph that is "actual history," probably 90% of that is WWII.

Yeah, probably. Do the same people who own MTV also own the History Channel? They did the same thing with MTV; that became a haven for reality shows and other nonsensical garbage, so they created MTV2 for the purpose of showing music videos, then carried over the garbage to the sister station. Now we have MTV Hits. How long before that gets invaded by endless showings of "True Life" and "Dismissed"?
