When I got mine out, the painkillers just made me sick.

I took one dose of the painkillers then cut them out. The entire scenario (having all four removed at once) was not nearly as bad as I thought it'd be. It wasn't 4 days of feeling horrible as much as it was 4 days of not feeling all that great.

Getting those bitches out was the worst three-day experience I can remember. Two years ago they got taken out and it redefined miserable for me.

Of course, it depends on the situation. I know people who ate burgers the next day.

I got mine our summer after my senior year of high school... no problems at all.

I went to the movies the next night (though I was in a little pain). Then I went to Kennywood (amusement park) the day after and even started eating solid food in the front of my mouth in small peices. I just couldn't go on any upside down rides because it put some odd pressure on my jaw.


I do have kind of a funny story about my wisdom teeth though...

The day I got them out I basically spent the entire time on the couch sleeping, watching TV, and bleeding onto a towel. My girlfriend of the time came over to keep me company. She brought McDonalds over and, of course, brought me NO milkshake. She did bring herself one of those chicken wraps that had just come out. So she basically sat in front of me eating it, saying "this is SO good!" Ya, thanks, whore. I couldn't eat solid food and you're telling me how awesome your meal is. Thanks a lot.

Well, I guess my unconcious self got her back. I was napping on the couch and she was sitting on the floor just below me watching TV. I had my hand on her shoulder as I went to sleep. Suddenly I woke up to her saying "HEY! Stop!" It turns out I was choking her in my sleep for some reason with that hand I had on her shoulder... lol.

you can get paid to have them removed if you do a clinical trial.

you will most likely have to pass a pee test before they experiment on you.

also let me warn you. they medicate you for the operation, but then you have to sit in a room with your mouth open bleeding into a cup while they alternate giving you painkillers and placebos. then while bleeding and recovering etc. you have to write down how bad your mouth hurts for a few hours.

check it out though. can make a couple hundred bucks.

When I was in college I signed up for bunches of those things for the cash....Now at my advanced state of age I wonder everytime something goes hinky on my body if they had anything to do with it.

Just being paranoid I guess.
