Who on here has attempted to ball in some AF1s? Worst mistake I ever made and my ankles never forgave me for the torture I put them thru :-((

I never played a game in Air Force I's, but I did play a game in a pair of Jordan I's, with similar results. It was disastrous. It sort of felt like I was playing barefooted. In addition, the insoles would slide and bunch up toward my toes whenever I made sudden stops or cuts. Now they sit on a shelf. I want to wear them in public but I don't want to get them all jacked up, so I'm always conflicted.
I think I'm going to start wearing them more. I'm not really cool enough to collect shoes just to collect them and one would surmise it doesn't make any point to have them and not wear them.

which I dont recommend as they bend like **** and have no grip at all!!! broke my ankle the first (actual) game i wore them in... of course I broke them in before that.

I've always been really picky about my balling shoes. With all the deals in the net I haven't paid over $75 for a pair of hooping shoes in 5-10yrs.

I used to have a problem with buying basketball shorts. I used to be on Ebay daily looking for authentic or swingman shorts.
