I say "depantsing" because you're taking their pants OFF. Pantsing makes it sound like you're putting their pants on, lol.

Exactly. Why would anyone call it pantsing? When you write out the words, it actually looks kind of funny. I don't know why, but it just does.

i never like to see a woman prove a point(j/k), but she has you on this one. i have never heard it as de-pantsing. yes it makes more sense as de-pantsing but ive never heard anyone actually say that. i have heard many people say pantsing in reference to act of pulling down someone's pants.

When I was in high school, they often referred to it as "depantsing", so that's what I'm going with.
