Re: Help w/ HDMI: No Signal problem
Man, this so damn frustrating---Heel, tried that didn't work. here's what i need to know, when i select HDMI the next screen that comes up should be:
1. select a setting method---i don't see that...next:
2. automatic or custom---i don't see that...next:
3. select all resolutions that are supported by your tv---i don't see that:
Here's what happens: WHEN i select HDMI it' asks me do i want to change settings to HDMI---i select yes---next screen NO SIGNAL end of story.
I don't get asked to select method,
auto or custom,
or select resolutions i.e. 480, 720, 1080I, 1080p, etc...
I need to be able to select resolutions, but it won't GO to that screen for some DAMN reason.Comment

Re: Help w/ HDMI: No Signal problem
silly ?, but did you select HDMI in the tv's video input setting? Should be on the remote or the tv itself where you change the inputsMy Fan Page http://theusualgamer.net/MyFanPage_Heelfan71.aspx

Re: Help w/ HDMI: No Signal problem
I don't think he meant cables I think he meant the input channel on the TV. The thing is if it's set to the input channel the that you have your s-video on it will not work. I.E. AV1 AV2 TV Component etc... The TV must be set to HDMI 1 or 2 depending on your TV.
Edit I just checked your specs on that TV and there is only one HDMI input. Change it to that take the s-video out put it on the HDMI Input channel and try agian. Hard reset on the HDMI input channel with no s-video cable plugged and not on the s-video input channel. It should work.Last edited by Chef Matt; 07-16-2009, 05:08 PM.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. Re: Help w/ HDMI: No Signal problem
Your tv is 720p so you won't be able to check anything higher than that with HDMI or component. My Fan Page http://theusualgamer.net/MyFanPage_Heelfan71.aspx

Damn I can't see the pic you posted. I'll check it out when I get home tonight. I'm tryin here at work. Component should be good to go though considering I use it for my Cable TV and it looks great.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. Re: Help w/ HDMI: No Signal problem
I would return it if you can and try another cable (could be a bad cable). I just use the Walmart ones which are around $20.My Fan Page http://theusualgamer.net/MyFanPage_Heelfan71.aspx
