Whatever, it's OS, it's always her fault, if she wasn't teasing this guy on TV he wouldn't have committed this crime

Agreed. What he did was definitely creepy and wrong, but if this guy gets 5 years in prison that is just unbelievable.

I think he should get a year or two in the slam, and pay a six or seven figure fine as well.

Anyone who ever wishes rape on another human being needs some serious psychological help themselves.

Ok, the rape part is a bit harsh (although if it were to happen I would have zero sympathy for this clown). I still don't think a year or two of jail time is sufficient. He needs to do at least 5 years.

I think everyone had a problem with it. But hoping that he gets sodomized in prison, is going a little bit to far... don't ya think.

I'm not a big fan of vigilante justice and I'm not going to say what is or isn't enough of a punishment, because honestly I don't know. But for the pain and suffering he caused to Erin Andrews (and apperantly other victims http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/200....ap/index.html), he deserves probably everything he will get.

According to what I heard this morning, everything this guy did was premeditated. He called ahead to all of the hotels to verify which one she was staying at and which room, then worked his magic to get the room right next door and then manipulated the peep hole in order to get clearer shots. The guy is creepy as hell and and in my mind, if he gets a little extra recreational punishment in the prison showers, that's his bad. Maybe he'll suffer some similar psychologial problems to what his victims are going through.

How would everyone feel if naked video's of your wife or girlfriend were taken by a stranger and sent to everyone of your friends, co-workers and family members and then multiply that by a few million. What do you think that would do to her mentally?

In my opinion, it would do a lot less than if she got raped. Probably multiple times, too.

True, but that is his fault. I'm not concerned at all with his well being one way or the other. I have much more sympathy for the innocent person who had their privacy exploited to millions of people than to the criminal getting butt raped in prison...How about if you don't want to get butt raped in prison, don't illegaly and secretly film people naked in their hotel rooms and then post it on the internet for the world to see. I don't feel bad for anything that happens to this guy, he knowingly did something that he had to know would tarnish this persons life and livelyhood.

If the procecuting lawyer just uses comments from this thread alone to show how much the "video" created a public aura of belief that Andrews was in on it and was "asking" for it....dude may as well throw in the towel defense wise.

I think anyone in their right mind would have more sympathy for the victim in this situation. But to think the person that did the crime deserves raped in prison is just silly to me. Honestly the crime wasn't that major in terms of magnitude and definitely not something thats going to ruin someones life.

First off, I ain't wishing prison rape on nobody but as far as what it does in terms of magnitude...we're guys. We see nudity and privacy entirely differently than women do. A guy will flash a locker room for a laugh. Moon a car of strangers on a dare...we're just not wired like the girlfolk.

I have no doubt Erin Andrews now covers every peephole she's around and will feel less comfortable in hotels for the rest of her life because of this. "Ruin a life"? Maybe not, but it affected her for life.

Again, I don't wish it up on him, but if it happens, I won't feel bad for the guy. He could have prevented all of this. If butt-rape is a highly probably occurance in prison and he knowingly does something that if he is caught, he will likely end up going to prison, then oh well.

As far as ruining her life, probably not "ruin" it, but I'm sure now when she travels to every college football stadium and basketball arena in the future she's going to hear about it from drunk and horny college kids. It's probably going to be something that is attached to her for quote some time and it's not exactly good press. I doubt most females would feel comfortable going to work every day if they knew naked pictures or vidoes had been distributed around the office...to me this is that x 1,000's.

                              Exactly.

You never know how another person feels violated by their privacy unless you have it happen to you or someone close to you.

For example, we live in an area with very low crime. We made the mistake of leaving our garage door open during the day and sometime between 4-6 pm, our daughters bike was stolen. Since that happened, the garage door stays down, but still it's a creepy feeling to have a stranger in the middle of day just walk into your private space and steal something of value.
