I used Gimp to make ones like this. I just did a screen shot of the Brewers page and used Gimp remove and add content.

    Atlanta Braves
    - Auburn Tigers - Nashville Predators

yeah, like people mention you'll just need to create the HTML template using images cut from GIMP, photoshop, etc.

Is there a software that creates HTML templates? Don't Adobe PS CS4 already have templates?

Dude....first of all you did a 5 hour bump, especially at a time when most guys go to work or are maybe in classes. Then someone just answered your question and then you re-asked it. Doing things in HTML requires you understand the code. HTML is not a graphics format.

Grab a copy of Photoshop 5.0 LE on ebay.... it's cheap and although it doesn't have all the bells and whistles of complete PS programs, it'll be easier to use for your purposes...... GL.

GIMPshop is GIMP that's trying to be Photoshop. I don't know how well it emulates it, but it's out there.

              GIMP? Not user friendly? Noooo

Really though, if you want to use GIMP, be well prepared to spend some time learning it.

In order to capture pics, you need a capture card. Well not with MLB 09 the show, which has an in game picture utility. Not sure how many games utilize this feature though. Or you could use a camera, but it comes out looking bad.

HTML can be made in any text editor, that is for the box scores themselves. Here is a good link if you want to learn it. http://www.w3schools.com/html/default.asp

EDIT: Just to be clear, HTML is a code, not an image.

i made my layout in photoshop and flash, as you can tell you can switch between the headlines like on espn.com

GIMP and paint.net are good apps, but i recommend photoshop. GIMP emulates photoshop really well, but if you want to learn how to design templates for your chise, i stick with photoshop. photoshop may have the steepest learning curve, but once you learn it, you can make just about anything.

Those are nice. I have Photoshop CS4 and it is hard as hell. How long did it take for you to be where you are at right now? Also can I make my own templates with photoshop or do I need some HTML code like a previous poster said?
