    IE Has Stopped Working Problem

    Fellaz, i'm tryin' to fix my neighbors cpu-- it's Win Vista. I can't even dl'd firefox--hell ANYTHING-- i keep getting "Internet Explorer has stopped working message. is there anyway to use a browser to install firefox. or is there a remedy to fix this. thanks. I did uninstall musicmatch--'cause of compatibility or NON--i should say of vista.

    ANY gurus wanna take a stab @ this? thanks

    get to a computer that you can download the .exe file for firefox, put it on a usb drive and then install it on their computer.

        Did that GR--now it's gettin' a Mozilla crash reporter screen
        a "we're sorry, Firefox had a problem and crashed--WTH???

          that computer is screwed or infected with spyware. See if you can run malwarebytes scanner. That might fix it.

            yea, or try and get spybot search and destroy using the same usb method. try atf cleaner as well, it doesnt remove spyware but it can help clean up temp files and what not real quick.

              Problem w/ these programs are you need updates for them to activate. i can't or the program can't dl'd updates for activation. any other suggestions fellaz?

              I figured out how to update w/out IC, using my flash--thanks anyway fellaz

                    It should...adaware used to be good, don't know if it's free anymore though. Spybot should get rid of most if not all, worth a shot

                        Hey bro, i dl'd the mwb like you said...got rid of MOST of the problem--'cept for these nagging Trojan clicker viruses...can't seem to rid them for some damn reason.
