A couple places I really like. One for takeout and one for the dining experience there.
TAKEOUT: Seatown restaurant is a chinese/west indian style place. It's a pretty basic set up with a bunch of tables, a small little bar and a couple TVs. It's not really a great place for family as it's more of a place for old guys to sit and get drunk but man, they got some of the best chinese/west indian style cuisine in the city. I LOOOVE their chow mein!
DINING EXPERIENCE: Island Mix is a cross between a restaurant and bar. It's a pretty nice place actually and you can take the family with you. They have 4 or 5 TVs usually on the sports channels so you can watch sports and the food is pretty nice too (west indian/carribean style) the women who do the bartending and waitressing are pretty cute too! There's also a little section with a couple pool tables and once in a while a guy with a steel drum would be there providing live music.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Have to update my previous list with a place I visited tonight:
Smalley's Caribbean Barbecue & Pirate Bar, Stillwater: True Caribbean barbecue, smoked and cooked over pimento wood with authentic jerk seasonings. The sides are to die for (LOVE the roasted sweet potatoes with pork and sausage), unlimited roasted jalepenos with sea salt and lime, and the most extensive list of rums and unique, tasty cocktails that I've seen in the Twin Cities. Well worth the trip east!I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be. - Douglas Adams

If you're ever, for some un-Godly reason, in Glens Falls, NY, go here:
Located in the heart of downtown Glens Falls, Davidson Brothers is a hometown brewery and restaurant with outdoor dining and private event space.
If you're ever in Saratoga Springs (where the famous horse track is) bo here:
The Olde Bryan Inn in Saratoga Springs offers an extensive restaurant menu using only the freshest, highest quality ingredients, all served up with an unconditional guarantee. The Tavern is a popular happy hour spot.

here in Newport, the most famous one is a place call Brick Alley pub. Fabulous food and drink. Popular with both local and tourists.

A few in Charlottesville, VA:
Littlejohns: Small but well-known sandwich shop on University Avenue (just off-Grounds at UVa, near the Rotunda). Absolutely phenomenal sandwiches and subs; they've won a few "Best of CVille" awards.
The White Spot: Another shop on University Avenue, specializes in burgers. Typically trafficked by inebriated college kids, but when you're in that state the Gus Burger (burger with a fried egg on it) is probably the tastiest thing one can find to eat.
St. Maarten's Cafe: Sort of tucked away just off of 14th St NW (coming from University Avenue). Variety of different eats, friendly and personable staff, and good bar.
Lord Hardwicke's: On Rt 29 North-bound near Barracks Road Shopping Center. Typical sit-down restaurant to be honest, but it's good stuff.Comment

In Seattle/Tacoma:
Beth's Cafe: Place is open 24/7, so it's a great place to go late on Friday or Saturday night for some 6 or 12 egg omlettes. Nothing beats their Southwestern Exposure Omlette. The place was featured on a Man vs. Food episode, where the host could not finish a 12 egg Southwestern Exposure Omlette and a pan of hashbrowns. It's killer.
Southern Kitchen: Best fried chicken in the area, by far.
In Montana:
The Pickle Barrel: Unfortunately, the location back in Missoula went out of business, but there's still a few locations in other towns in Montana. The bread is what makes the place. In Winnipeg, there's a great place called Bistro Dansk. It serves Danish/Eastern European food, like Schnitzel, Goulash, Chicken soup etc.. I really like this kind of food, as I used to eat it A LOT when I lived with my parents. Plus the prices are just right, the place has a warm/home kind of feel, and it's more of older people place, so it's usually quite and relaxed.

The Blue Moose - amazing steak house, beyond explanation of how good that place is.

NE Ohio
Willoughby Brewing Company - Downtown Willoughby. It's in an old Train repair station. Awesome food, awesome atmosphere. The best appetizer I've ever had in Buffalo Chicken Eggrolls. Won taste of Cleveland several times.
New Town Grill - Mentor. Great little bar and it's right at the end of my street so it's a quick walk. Great cheap burgers, you can tell the greese has never been changed.
Pickle Bills - Mentor. Best seafood bar none. Has a floating bar in the river, and the bar stools are swings.
The Boulevard Grille - Willoughby. Best wings in the state. Cheap, big, and tons of sauce. Their sweet hot sauce is to die for.Wasted Penguins

Hard Times Cafe has this. There's one in College Park and NoVa somewhere.
Just go to Maggianos. It's a chain but you cant beat the portion sizes.Comment
