Agreed. Obviously if college students are in a position where they must work large hours to survive that is one thing. But with the amount of work necessary to excel in college, I do not see how it is realistic to work more than 10-15 hours during a week as a student. I tried to limit my work during the school year as much as possible. Life is supposed to be fun, if you're working before you're supposed to be working and you don't need to be working to survive, then you should try not working.

Of course you couldn't kill yourself working but being broke isn't fun.

I'm one of the people who needs to work to survive whil being a student.

I worked between 40 - 50 last year. I have 3 jobs right now, and am taking classes off until January. Ill probably take night classes from there and work full time.

I'm taking 18 credits, and working 28-30 hours a week.

Working full time while taking 12 units. It's sucks now but will pay off in the end I hope.

Took 15 credit hours this summer and worked 36-40 hours per week.

None now. I need to find a job, especially after burning $600 on books.

Freshman year, I worked 15-25 hours per week. My last 3 years, I worked 35-40 per week. It wasn't too bad, you just have to know how to manage your time.

I work 40 hour plus each week. I work at least 40 but lately my job has been running some overtime so I try to get a few hours of OT when I can. I got my degree while working 40 hours a week and believe me it was not easy.
