    What is your biggest fear?

I have a few, please do not be that stupid person and say "I have no fear".

1.) - Being strapped on a a metal platform were I cannot move and have another metal platform smash my body real slow until I am dead.
    2.) - Drowning to death.
3.) - Knowing someone is starring at me through a window.
4.) - Knowing someone is in my house.

Those are a few of mine. Now share yours.

Just curious...but what triggers this one?

Do you find yourself on metal platforms alot or what?

If we're getting this specific, my list is neverending.

        But simply, it's two things:

        1) Losing close friends to others drunk driving.
        2) My [future] children dying before I do.

There are many things I can handle and I feel one day I can accept death for myself (though it's not close to my time), but I can't live with others more than likely losing their lives as a lost cause. If 1 and 2 were combined, you can bet that I wouldn't fear prison time for revenge that shall be exacted if such an event were to occur.

Not being able to support my family is my biggest fear. Fear of something happening and everything falling apart financially.

          I'm also terrified of heights.

            :P

I don't want to get into specifics, but a general and common fear I have is of heights.

They say that fear comes from a feeling of having no control. I can only assume that unless genetics are solely involved that this can be stabilized, maintained, and prevented from happening.

I would fear it too, but I would do something about it at the same time.

Nothing really, because I choose not to think about that sort of stuff.
Worry about something and it doesn't come true, you worried for nothing. If it does come true, you suffered twice.

Probably a car accident involving me or someone I care about. Like Blzer said above, something that's pretty much out of my control. And with how much we drive, how many people drive, and how stupid people tend to be, it does worry me quite a bit. I never want to get that phone call. Honestly, I think about it a lot. I make it a point to kiss my girlfriend and tell her I love her before she leaves for work, her house, whatever. If something awful would happen to her, I'd feel a little comfort knowing that that was the last thing I said to her.

Sometimes I feel I have an overwhelming amount of pressure placed on me to succeed considering both of my parents' shortcomings and my siblings' poor decisions.

If I lose/fail at anything I get very upset.
