Hahaha. Report back on your experience. I hated the first day. Apperantly I ate too much too close to the workout and thought I was going to puke...it got easier after that though.

Question on the workouts...For you guys that have been through it, when you first started, did you take breaks or cut the reps short? Or did you pause, take breaks, and still try to get as many reps as they did?

Like lilbently said, at the beginning you probably can only do a few pullups and they are doing 15-20 and your pushups will probably be less as well, so you get plenty of time to rest just waiting for them to finish up.

For the other workouts where weights are involved, there was a bit of extra time trying to figure out the right weight, but I didn't find myself having to hit pause too often. Often times Tony takes a good amount of time introducing the next excersise so you get some time there.

However there are times when he will jump right into something and I had to pause it to get my weight set up for the next excersise.

Well my plan is breakfast, lunch, workout right before dinner, dinner.

I don't know how well I'll do with the diet... but damn I'm going to try. I made sure to give me body an extra special "FU" yesterday. Soda, chips, pizza, hot dogs, burgers... Yum.

After a week I feel pretty good. I slipped on the diet this weekend because I went home and didn't have really anything I could work with.

I don't know if I'll last a full 90 days though, this is too expensive. I can't afford the supplements and whatnot for another 2 months. I like the workout, I may just keep doing that and trying to eat fairly healthy even though I won't get ideal results. Or maybe I'll look into substituting some of the supplements, not sure.

I'm seeing some results, I believe, in just a week. And I'm walking around feeling pretty swoll myself.

Through breakfast and lunch alone I'm anxious. The portions recommended in the first month are so small.

Just finished Day 2, Plyometrics.

This thing is INSANE. And I heard it only gets worse.

Haha Pared. I just finished day 2 myself. I could only get through half of the plyometrics before i felt like throwing up and getting real light headed. But it's one hell of a work out. I'm keeping track of everything, and if I'm pleased with the results, I'll post more as time goes along. I don't think I'll get the ripped abs and definition like the main guy... i'm just looking to tone and lose some belly fat. Hopefully this will help.

Ruff Ryder. I'm with you. Getting everything the program recommends is just too expensive. I guess if you want the FULL results, you should follow it to the letter. But basically, with my working out, I've always hit that plateau. Hopefully this will let me get stronger and leaner, not necessarily mr. universe defined though.

As for me, day 1 wasn't as horrible as it seemed. Granted, I did push ups (all of them) girl-style, and could only hit ~12-15 reps before tiring. I used the bands for the pull ups and chin ups b/c I have a stocky build with previous history of shoulder dislocations, so I thought changing that up would be more beneficial for me. The great thing about this workout is that you CAN modify it to your current health and strength level. Don't try to max out everything. Try to get through the entire hour, and if less weights/reps will help, do so.

Day 2 I was only able to get through half of the routine, and I cherry picked some of the more fun exercises of the 2nd half of the plyometrics. Hopefully, as the weeks progress, I'll be able to complete the entire program (the half took me ~1 hr) and just by completing it, I'll see progress.

Tomorrow is shoulder and arms. Arms should be fine, but with my previous shoulder problems, I'm a little worried that I won't be able to do some of the exercises as my range of motion in my bad shoulder (left) is ~60% of my right one. We'll see. I'll keep you all updated as I progress.

So you started on Monday? So did I! Nice... I have a P90X pal.

I've finished both exercises... but yesterday was worse than today. Holy hell it was worse... this one burned, but I finished without issue. Yesterday... I had to pause a lot... take a ridiculous amount of water... and collapse in the shower for 1/2 an hour after all was said and done.

I fear what tomorrow may bring.

Yeah, started Monday. Got the program, but the diet seems so ridiculous. I'm going to definitely eat healthier (hopefully), but I don't think I can afford all the other stuff they recommend.

I'm pretty sure... like 100% sure, the reason I couldn't finish today is b/c I'm a former smoker.. and by former, I mean like quit ~5 months ago; during which time, I gained ~30 lbs. So that extra weight with the history of smoking (15 years), I just didn't have the stamina to finish the plyometrics. Strength exercises like day 1 and day 3 should be ok... as I've worked out on and off my entire life; but like I said, I've always hit that plateau. I think the first 30 days, i'll focus much more on improving my conditioning and stamina. The strength exercises during the 2nd month scares the **** out of me though.

But yeah, I hope you have a work out partner too, to help you keep that motivation; but I'll def be your online work out buddy. Stay with it!

.... but man, i'm freakin' sore right now.

day 3 down the books. Shoulders and arms and finish with ab work out. Took ~1.5 hrs. As expected, I was able to finish the shoulder/arms exercise without any problems. Don't get me wrong, I worked hard, but I was able to do every exercise. Abs... well, abs are abs. Tomorrow is yoga, which i hear is 1.5 hrs. I'm much more worried about the balance than any potential pain/discomfort. We'll see how this one goes.

Don't take this personal guys, but I'm loving this. Knowing that you are going through the hell I went through the first few days puts a smile on my face

Honestly, I think the first two days are the hardest workouts to get through. Don't get me wrong, some of the chest and back stuff you do in phase 2 (1 arm and plyo pushups, corncob and towel pullups) is harder, but you will be stronger by then and your energy level and stamina will be built up and will get you through the workouts with less overall fatigue, though you will still be worn out.

The first week in general is tough just because you don't know what to expect from each workout. Once you go through it once and know what the expectations are, it gets easier.

The only thing that I think I hated more than that was legs and back and it's simply because it is the only workout you do every week (non-recovery weeks). You never get a break from it and I loathe wall squats.

Also, if plyo is too harsh, you can use cardio as a substitute (they mention this in one of the two workouts).

I posted this above somewhere, but remember, only the first 45 or so minutes (up until 43 minutes are left) of yoga is the hard part and it gets much easier after that. If you can make it through the first half, the second half is cake in comparrison.

The first half will wear on your legs and butt as you go through all of the crazy warrior, etc. poses and have to hold them for 20-30 seconds. After that there are a few balance postures, but mostly stretching.

Also, it will greatly help you if you can get something similar to a yoga block in shape and stability (I used a little metal pail that my daughter puts her crayons in).
