My advice is become friends with someone in the business. We know a guy who works as a dealer, so he gets them for what it cost to make not what business are paying so it's an even bigger discount.

I got one of those space foam gimmicks and it's great but I got to spin it every so often so it doesn't form to my body too much then feel weird when I shift in my sleep.

About a year back I flipped it over, even though it said not too, but It seems fine and still provides nice support.

I demo'd one and absolutely hated it. Once I laid down it was if I was trapped in bed, literally, but not in a comfortable way. Different strokes for different folks though.

Agreed...I always thought I would want one and I was so excited when I got to sleep on one. But definitely not a fan. Was not comfortable at all.

I have a temperpedic mattress pad at home. I love my mine. They run for around $100-150 I believe. Here at SU I don't have it and it kinda sucks. Once you go temperpedic, you never go back. The pad is less thick than the temperpedic mattress, so you don't get that feeling that you're falling into it. It's just nice and soft and comfortable.

Yeah, the pads and all that are great. But, getting the entire mattress would leave you dissapointed.

I worked in the furniture business for almost four years (not anymore though). Two as a sales associate and about two as a Manager. I can honestly tell you that is a great buy. I know most of the names of the mattress but, even the lower end mattress sell for like 2 grand. So your definitely getting a great deal!!

From my experience people either love them or hate them. The people that love them love the lack of motion transfer. The people that hate them, hate them because they say the mattresses get hot and some say they're hard to get out of.

Anyways, I hope you enjoy your purchase and if you do and you do I would sugguest you get a adjustable base. If I had one I would turn my bedroom into a man cave. lol

Completely agree. I slept on one 2 years ago at a friend's house and I finally got around to getting mine a couple months ago. Absolutely love it and will never go back to a traditional bed.

Yeah, the thing I hated about managing a furniture store is stuff like when somebody would buy a Tempurpedic Mattress get it home and hate it.

The stores mattress policy was that they didn't return mattresses (just and FYI, I won't buy from a mattress store that had an exchange policy because there is a possibility of buying a used mattress) however, if someone push the issue enough we would allow them to exchange the mattress but only after they slept it for 30 days. The reason being is because it takes your body a few days to get adjusted to a new mattress. So, if the store allowed them to do the exchange immediately then more than likely they wouldn't like the second mattress either. But, if they tried it for 30 days and they still didn't like it then we would allow them to reselect.

Can you image telling someone who hated a $5000 mattress that they had to sleep on it for 30 days? It wasn't fun, to say the least.

I am excited about getting it because my back usually hurts when I get up. I have a soft pillow top for a while then my back started hurting, then I got a harder one with more support and 2 years later it's hurting again.

I like to sleep with a ceiling fan and a standing fan blowing right on me while covering up with a huge comforter, so I'm not sure how this mattress will affect my sleeping temp lol

Yeah, I'm the same way but, I like a nice loud box fan for the noise. Another piece of advace I would like to give you is to go out and buy a mattress pad.

There's nothing worse than getting a nice new mattress then getting a bad stain on it. I'm not talking about just like a food or beverage stain, I'm talking about a bad piss stain, lol.

When I got my first "nice mattress" when I first started selling furniture and I had it about a month and I started dating a MILF. Well me and the MILF hit it off and she started staying over more and more and we began planning a future together. I'm a big dog lover so we decided to my a puppy together and after about a week the dog pissed on the head, causing a huge stain.

Then about a week later she brought her son over and he feel asleep so she moved him to the bed. I went back there a little later and saw that he had peed all over the bed too.

I was like WTF, I just bought my first expensive mattress and now I have two huge Pee Stains. Anyways, me and the girl broke up and I was left with a dog and a stained mattress. So, I eventually bought myself a new one and gave one of my friends my old piss stained mattress with a mattress pad.

So I learned my lesson and now I have to mattress pads. One for using and I keep another for back-up for when I wash the other one.
