    Interview with Bacardi151 (Webmaster)

BDoughty: So how long have you been with Operation Sports?

I've been with operation sports since late last year, around October. Steve put up a post on the main site looking for an ASP/PHP programmer. I wanted to help out the site. The rest is history. I have made alot of friends here and am glad I was given the opportunity to contribute to OS.

BDoughty: You are the webmaster for the OS website what all do your duties entail? Any tidbits for the readers on upcoming projects with the main site?

Making sure the site stays up. Constantly looking for ways to improve the user expierience. Security is always a top priority. Its alot of work, and sometimes a thankless job, but I enjoy doing it. And its worth every minute.

The new forum look will be ported over to the main site with the help of Fossen. We plan to invest some free weekends to make the main site user friendly and with plenty of goodies. We are always considering new ideas and welcome everyone's input. Please stay tuned!

BDoughty: What sports teams do you follow? Do you have a favorite sport?

I am a homer. I follow all of the Miami teams in one way or another. Favorite sport is football, and am a huge olympics fan.

BDoughty: Tell us about the Batista family?

Now that I am done with school, my beautiful wife, Carla, and I have been talking about starting a family.Still, there a lots of things left to do before we finally decide to bring a child into the world; the wife wants to have her business set up doing massage therapy, so this might change our priorites a bit for now.

BDoughty: Other then sports gaming and writing, do you have any hobbies?

I teach karate. I have been doing it for over 8 years and hope to open up a dojo someday. Reading is something I love but never have enough time to do it anymore. Other than that, just sitting in front of a monitor all day and spitting out code

Cameras or guns, one of them is gonna shoot me to death.
