Burglar Arrested After Checking Facebook

In another chapter of what should become a daily series, the world has introduced to us another case of its stupidest criminals.

According to The Journal, a 19-year-old Pennsylvania man was arraigned earlier this week on a charge of felony daytime robbery. How did police catch him? Simple: the burglar left a trail, by way of checking his Facebook account before leaving the house with two diamond rings and forgetting to log out.

Reminds me of when my dad's truck was stolen at 4 AM in the morning a couple years ago and the police found the truck with the theif's ID and credit card on the passenger seat.

There are some great criminals out there.

It actually reminds me of the article (which was also a thread here long ago) where this group of people were arrested for stealing GPS tracking devices. It was simply a matter of turning them on and locating them.
