    Meal Replacement Shakes

I've been doing some research on meal replacement shakes and still can't figure out what my best option would be. I was wondering what type of shakes some of you are useing.

None would be the best option. Eat food, don't replace food with whatever you are thinking of replacing it with
    Concrete evidence/videos please

I'm not a fan of breakfast so I just make a quick shake in the morning to hold me over for a little

        1 Banana
        1 heaping cup of strawberries
        10 pineapple slices
        1/2 cup of yogurt
        3 scoops of soy protein

That sounds yummy, I used to make smoothies for breakfast in the army(probably should get back into that) but I used Frozen Fruit and the fruity V8 drink.

I used to drink those Myoplex shakes; they had them at the gym I used to go to in NY. Those things would get a brotha feeling all bloated. Right now I just use whey protein and low carb milk. Only @ 200 calories.

I ditched the meal replacement shakes for Whey Protein and skim milk.
Also some of the ready made shakes taste good although some are a bit high in fat if you are worried about that stuff.

I've been using the Wal-mart brand whey protein shake it has 52 grams of protein for two scoops. The cookies and cream flavor is pretty good. I hit that after my morning workout and it carrys me through to my late lunch.
                      Morning:
                      Wheaties and raisins or bananna
                      workout w/ postworkout shake
Lunch: grilled chicken breast and brown rice w/ brocoli
Mid day snack: mixed nuts or jerkey (turkey)
Dinner: whatever the wife makes she is a pretty lean eater
after dinner snack: bannana or apple.
                      Gaming hard since 1988

I have won like 25 Super Bowls in Madden so I am kinda a big deal.

That was directed to the OP, I don't drink these as meal replacements - I include these into my daily caloric intake.

I am going to be on the road for an extended period of time. I don't want to get stuck eating fast food. I was wondering about meal replacement as well.

I drink those fruit/vegetable smoothies for breakfast a lot.

What are using said meal replacement shakes to achieve? That will help you narrow it down.

Are you trying to lose weight, gain muscle, not feel so weighed down, need something of caloric substance to eat quickly because of lack of time? Please explain...
