A little rant...

To whom it may concern,

Quit posting how you hate playing "cheesers". You make that choice. Nobody forces you to hop online and play some random person who doesn't play the game the way you want. This complaint is the most overused on the site, and rarely will anybody do anything about it but complain.

There are many, many gripes on OS which warrant the complaints. However, this is in the control of you! It's not the games fault, it's your damn fault. Quit playing random people!

Oh yea but how do I not play these "cheesers"?

Why don't you stop being so lazy and find people on this site to play. There are many out there who are also looking for "sim" guys to play, as shown by the number of complaint threads. Take advantage of private messages, the meebo thing, and the online forums.

If you expect a game to not have an exploit you are going to be disappointed with every game you ever play. You need to be reasonable and understand that everything can't be perfect within the game, as the time frame for evaluating exploits and bugs is pretty small.

Complaining about something you have control of should be an automatic yellow card infraction on this site.

Yea anyways i hate the term cheesers because i think a lot of people use it when they lose, same thing when people call you a "camper" in COD or something. Just because your not running around like a chicken with his head cut off and firing like rambo people think your a camper. Same thing with cheesers yes there are a lot of them out there but ive been called a cheeser before by passing a lot in shotgun with the NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS!! or running a lot with the titans. I dont get it some people just hate to use and use the term cheeser so wildly.

Nice rant, I agree 100%. However, I also think theres an over due rant about people asking when patch's are going to drop over and over again.

Remember when you were a kid and you were going on a long road trip? Once you got in the car and rode for an hour, you asked are we there yet?? The answer was no. Well, guess what?? Asking over and over again doesn't help you get there any faster.

I don't like playing cheesers (and I really hate when they have an exploit that I can't stop) but sometimes I want to play online and only option is random people. I love shutting a cheeser down and making them quit.

Sorry, maybe it was a bad analogy but even so, how does a couple of hundred threads asking if the patch is out help anything???

Especially, since EA doesn't know exactly when the will drop because patches have to go through Microsoft/Sony certification before they are released.

Oh well, we might as well prepare ourselves for the i inevitable couple of hundred threads asking "when is patch two coming out?". All of which will be created (probably starting tomorrow) and subsequently locked.

Anyways, sorry for hijacking your thread stewaat, I guess that I should probably start a rant of my own about this but, apparently I'm the only one who see's it as a problem.

I agree with the original post. I know for certain that if I jump into a lobby and play someone I don't know, I will most likely be frustrated with their style of play. The percentages are very unbalanced. I blame myself if I do that though. I have a friend's list. I have been playing online since the DC, and one thing is for sure, with every game comes a "cheeser."

An interesting situation happened the other day. I was playing Fight Night and lost to a guy that I would consider to be abusing the game. I like playing in the World Championship Mode, so I bite the bullet. He won the match, but after wards I get a one word message on XBL. "Idiot." So, I replied and asked why he used that style of play and then writes to me like that. He came back with a comment telling me how I should have played him. Then I replied with, "Still, you won. Why lack class and make that comment. What's the point." We then had this XBL message conversation where he's revealing to me his character.

Worse than them frustrating me by cheesing is knowing that these type of people just don't give a damn and probably won't be of much value for themselves or others around them. Kind of sad.
