BDoughty: So how long have you been with Operation Sports?
I've got split time here at OS. I first joined on back in March of 2002 and then stepped down in August of the same year. A little over a month ago I came back crawling on my hands and knees begging Steve for another chance. It feels great to be back!
BDoughty: The screen name Crazy_Stanley, is there a history behind it?
History? No, no history. Mystery maybe, but definitely no history. Let's just say that it was a nickname I earned back in my days in the Marine Corps and CS gas was involved.
BDoughty: What sports teams do you follow? Do you have a favorite sport?
My favorite sport is without a doubt Football, but baseball is closing the gap. The two teams I love with a passion are the Buffalo Bills and the Colorado Rockies. I've been a Bills fan my entire life and started to follow the Rockies heavily back in '99. Now that Denver is my permanent home I pretty much follow all of the Denver based sports teams, but the love for my Bills will never die!
BDoughty: Tell us about the Wilkinson family?
Let's see here. Founded way back in 1802 the Wilkinson family.... oh! Sorry. I have a beautiful wife named Kerry and a 10 year old son, Brandon. If they were to ever do a remake for the Any Griffith Show my son would be a shoe-in for the part of Opie. My wife has a succesful career here in Denver (which was a major factor in me separating from the Marine Corps) and my son is doing well in school and in sports. Without these two wonderful people in my life I'm sure I wouldn't be half the person I am today.
BDoughty: Other then sports gaming, do you have any hobbies?
I woldn't call it a hobby, but I coach youth basketball and baseball. I've been coaching the basketball team for the past 3 years and just picked up the baseball team this past spring. Watching these kids grow as a team as they become better althletes over the past 3 years is one of my greatest experiences.
