Nerf Footballs?

I know a lot of you may be to young to have own the original NERF football, but how amazing were they? The Nerf Turbo is still my favorite ball ever tossed that wasn't made out of leather. Just wondering whats you experience with them...Does anyone even still have one of the originals?

Nerf footballs never lasted very long, they'd always crack and split or you'd end up with a ball with chunks missing.

I did buy an all weather nerf and it is pretty nice, especially in the realm of durability and use around water.

How does it throw? Distance wise, i know a lot of nerf's became too light and slight wind really affected them

I remember using the Vortex when I played as a kid... it had the tail and the whistle. On D you can keep your eye on your receiver the whole time and just listen for the ball.

Yea, booo the Vortex! They took away from the original nerf. U want a whistle...you get the nerf turbo whistler! Real footballs don't have tails. I couldn't stand buying a brand new vortex you have a friend catch it or throw it by the tail, and whoops, tail is broken!

I had one of the original 'nerfoops'...

It was a small basketball looking ball and a hoop the you hooked on the top of a closed door...

Mine was in the dining room, on a stretch of floor that resembled the 'key' on a real court...

Man, that was fun for hours, most days, for a few baskeball season in a row, before I outgrew it...

Nerf Turbo Football FTW! I loved those things! I wished they still made them. There's been way too many BBQ's with the nephews without a nerf football!

Very good actually, it's just basically a nerf football covered in rubber so that adds some heft. The bad is it gives the ball a bit of a rubber ball feel, it's more solid and inflated feeling, but the nerf inside keeps bounce down so it's not too bad. Go to target/walmart/toysrus/etc and throw it down an empty aisle.

Nah it's not inflated. It's made of foam or something. I remember playing with them back in the day...good times. A good change up from regular footballs, but as yall said, they weren't durable at all.
