This thread rules! Haha.. my chihuahua has a cute little head, but his body is fat. It looks like his head doesn't match his body! I'll post a pic when I can...

We adopted Lilly from a rescue home, she was found in WVa, at a kill shelter. As soon as I walked in to see her she and I hit it off. I was looking at getting a new puppy but she changed my mind almost instantly. She is a little wild right now as we are trying to train her. She is awsome though, high energy and natural high flyer. I'm pretty sure she is a lab mutt.

        Nice.
You've just got your guardian for the rest of her life.
        She's a beauty.
EXCELLENT that you adopted a shelter dog from one that was not a no-kill.

                    Awesome pic dickey.

I was thinking of getting one to go along as a playmate for my GSD. Not sure if I want to go with another GSD, Siberian Husky or a Alaskan Malamute.

Haha, no doubt man. My neighbor though has a Siberian Husky and they are beautiful as well. Whatever I do won't be till spring till this one matures a little bit more plus the weather will be much better.

With two male GSD I worry about the conflict issue as some told me sometimes it just doesn't work out when there are only two male GSDs in the house.

I've got a friend who has two, and I agree, they are very beautiful. Smart too.

I've been told that as well, but I haven't had any issues.

I've had at least two, and for a year or so I had three, GSD's for the last 15-16 years and haven't had any problems due to them both being males. Maybe I've just gotten lucky with the 4 dogs I've had, but other than them getting mad at each other over toys or something, which can obviously happen with any pair of dogs, they've been just fine.

Yeah, I'm leaning toward GSD but defiantly waiting till he matures a little more. The good thing about him which I love is when he is with the other GSDs, he takes his time and doesn't really rush into situations of unknown. Like if there is a group playing, he won't just rush into the group like my friends GSD does for example. He kind of monitors the situation and then jumps in. This makes me believe that he would be okay with another GSD as far as living together. As far as sharing toys... lol, that's another story. He pretty much suplexed my friend's GSD when he went to smell his toy.
