Pearson was only behind Robert Smith as the sickest high school running back I've ever seen. Watched him rush for over 300 yards on us one year. Him and Rashad Jernigans (I'm pretty sure that was his name) was a damn nice backfield.

Only ones I ever played with were Melvin Levett and Damn Stringer (famous for being kicked off OSU's team) in pick up games at Mentor Civic.

Levett dunked on me once, yeah, that was fun. His nickname of helicopter was given to him for a reason. LOL

Robert Smith was insane in high school. I remember watching him play us at Mentor when I was in 8th grade in a soldout crowd. He was also a track star.

Raeshaun Jernigan was another I played against. Very good athlete. Not the best basketball skills, but still effective.

Damon Stringer was pretty talented, but was a knucklehead (obviously).

Levett was the "helicopter". Throwing lobs to him in the summer was a good time. He put on some ridiculous displays above the rim in practice and before one of our AAU games. Very entertaining.

I didn't know you played at the Civic Center. I used to spend a lot of time playing there in the summer. Not exactly the best thing for your knees when you get older, but that was a good, competitive atmosphere to play in.

Played against too many to name. I got dunked on by Jonathan Bender at Blue Chips bball camp. Played with and against OJ Mayo many times, but he was in middle school at the time. I told everyone he was overrated, haha.

Yeah, for a few summers in the mid-late 90's I lived at Mentor Civic. Always had a game going with 3-5 teams waiting to get on the court.

I forgot, also played against Levitt in Hoop-it-Up. He dunked on me there as well, but I dunked on his buddy so I felt I got even LOL

In Texas, there was a lot of ppl that I wen head to head against. I had good games against some too. Especially against Willowridge HS (TJ Ford & Daniel Ewing). I'm sure there's more, but I forgot. If we were including AAU teams, then my list would be a lot longer.

He was in 4th Grade when I was in 6th and already like 5'10!!! He was a monster at that age who blocked everything.

That 2001 WIllowridge team was nice man. I used to watch their games on FoxSports Texas (or whatever it is). TJ and Ewing were a hell of a backcourt on the HS level. I loved TJ back then man. Cornrows and all LOL (No funny stuff)

No doubt man. T.J was tough. Easily the best HS player I ever played against. Over a two year span they were 75-1 with 2 titles lol! Even players on the bench went to D1 schools.

Played against in football: QB John Parker Wilson(he made the roster for Atlanta); WR Chad Jackson(plays for New England I think); Andre Smith(we played him when he was a FR)
