Of all the professions, after all, few people are less suited to be suddenly thrown into the public eye than chefs. We're used to doing what we do in private, behind closed doors. -
Re: Do you have a TV in your bedroom?
Studies have shown that... I saw it a while back and decided that I wouldn't have a TV in my bedroom. But yeah, I also don't like getting dependent on it to sleep, etc., which happened when I was younger and had a TV in my room.Send your Midnight Release weirdo pics/videos to my new website: http://www.peopleofmidnightreleases.com!Comment

Re: Do you have a TV in your bedroom?
At my old apartment I used to sleep on my futon in the living room when my bed was crappy...now that I have a big bed, I don't have a tv in the bedroom.
I used to fall asleep to the TV, but I like it better now that I don't. I just read before bed and that usually gets me tired where I want to fall asleep.
I do think I get better sleep because in the past the tv used to sometimes get loud and wake me up (you know those dumb commercials that are way louder than the show you're watching)...
I could see getting a 2nd TV for the office if I was married, but not sure I'd want one in the bedroom for a while...Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

I'm have a similar feeling because I went through a stage where I could only fall asleep while watching a movie. There was something about flipping channels that kept me....well.... alert.
Nowadays, I usually stay up til around 11-11:30 and watch a segment or two of Sports Nation then call it a night. My 2K17 Boston Celtics MyLeague

Re: Do you have a TV in your bedroom?
I have one in my room.
It works out great for me, because I can avoid dealin with my roommate all the time and arguing over what to watch. Plus, if I have my lady friend over, we can dip out to my room and hang out.
In regards to the comment Stumble made about couples and TV's in bedrooms, I've never seen that to be the case with my current and past relationships...i've always had a pretty healthy sex life, and I've had a TV in my room since high school.Comment

Re: Do you have a TV in your bedroom?
You typically have a healthy sex life regardless when you're not married. The issue is when it's a married couple. Once married many things change, many things come in the way, especially with kids. So when you're in the bedroom you should be sleeping or _____ing.I have one in my room.

....But if you can maintain a healthy sex life w/ your spouse w/ the TV in the bedroom then excellent. My idea of a healthy sex life is 3-4 times/week.Originally posted by Edmund BurkeAll that is needed for the triumph of evil, is for good men to do nothing.Comment

Re: Do you have a TV in your bedroom?
Hehe, I lay in bed all night and watch TV sometimes and I lose track of time and end up staying up way too late. It can be a problem.Originally posted by deadduckDid when I was a studio apartment bachleor and found I was too obsessive with watching things untill the crack of dawn. Re: Do you have a TV in your bedroom?
I'm married, we have a TV in the bedroom and we are "healthy"
.....but we don't have any kids so we have the anytime, anyplace motto
Back to the topic, I rarely watch it because I'm a night owl and my wife is usually asleep by the time I get to the bedroom.Comment
