    Does it annoy anyone else....

    when people say "my boy". Usually in reference to sports stars, "my boy lebron" "my boy kobe". Maybe it's just me, but people sound like complete morons when they say it.

      Doesn't bother me at all. Hell I always refer to people as, "My man."

                  If I really like a player that most people don't or most people don't think will be good, I'll say "my boy Delwyn Young" or whatever. It's not that I think he's really a buddy, it's just more of a "I told he was decent... No one else did."

                  I dunno, I'd never say "My boy Big Ben" or "My boy Andrew McCutchen." Everyone knows who they are and expect them to be good. They're everybody's "my boy," not mine.
