I'm sorry, you do not go off on a rampage like this wounding/killing almost 45 people total, especially if you're a recent convert, especially if you're a "mental health professional", if youre simply "distraught" over being deployed.

I have two nephews down there as I write. Still haven't heard anything from them.

I can tell you for a fact that weapons and ammo are secured in arms rooms on post. This guy planned this and brought in his own weapons. Damn.

Anyway who are the other two suspects? And why haven't they released their names yet.

I believe they don't know the other two suspects full roles in this. According to the Texas Senator (on CNN, so, unlike Fox News, she must be respectable, right?) they're questioning them now to figure out whether or not they were shooters or just involved somehow.

The same reason they didn't release the Major's name on TV until the military confirmed it, they don't want to put names out there that may not need to be shared.

Which wouldn't be that hard at all. If you have the proper taggings all you have to do is show I.D. and you are on base. Checks are only random.

And just to add onto what JD said....we realize that things are confusing and tense. We are all worried. Under normal circumstances, this thread would have been locked a long time ago with some of the posts in here.

Keep it as controlled as possible, or else it gets locked AND infractions get handed out.

While it is wrong to judge and jump to conclusions, its hard to blame anyone for doing so after 9/11.

Lets try to be objective as possible until we know all the facts. Right now we should be thinking/praying for the wounded and the families of those killed.

Cmon man, The Shooter was a Major, he could have easily signed a Weapon out, no questions asked. He probably bought the Ammo, but this whole thing makes zero sense to me. A Major probably have about 10-15 years in the Army, he just would not fit the profile of a shooter like this this.

I can guarantee you that he was not recruited to do this, You would not recruit a Army Major to do the shooting, It is much easier to brain wash a few kids then let them do the dirty work for you. None of this makes any sense.

Not in our arms room. No individual could check out one let alone two weapons without proper authorization.
