The era of the cool nickname is long gone, which is a shame. Just like with everything else, we've lost our imagination.

Re: Nickname's
I've been called Ruffy by most of my friends since 8th grade.
It was used soo much many of my teachers in high school used it. (My gym, science, and physics teachers as they coached hockey teams I played on and knew my knickname from their).
Also most of my close friends moms and dads call me Ruffy.
In university I had a few people that met me through friend, knew them for a little while and they would ask me later on...so what's your real name. Cause most of the tie they only knew me as Ruffy.
