Cartoons in the Morning with your kids???

What cartoons do you find yourself watching while getting your kid(s) ready for school?

I've been watching that dang Special Agent Oso and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. It's sad cuz i find myself getting mad at just how dumb Oso is. I shouldn't cuz it's not intended for me but i just can't help it.

I can't get these dang theme songs out of my head. I think I'm going crazy.

No TV in the kitchen = No cartoons during the morning rush

My son has a hard enough time finishing breakfast fast enough to get out the door, a TV would make things even worse. He usually watches cartoons on the weekend mornings, and then it's only Nick. He loves Spongebob and the Penguins of Madagascar (even if the two movies were terribly lame). We also watch The Simpsons periodically.

My son is only 2 and a half but we are up bright and early. We have Sid The Science Kid And Super Why on every morning.

we dvr mickey mouse clubhouse, yo gabba gabba (my favorite), little einsteins, wonder pets, the backyardigans, and handy manny (my other favorite).

When I stayed at my brother's house for a month, I would watch all the Sponge Bob stuff with my nephew in the morning. Then I found myself watching it in a hotel room at 3 am, while I was away for work, and I wondered wtf kids are watching! It's a talking sponge and his best friend is a squid!

All other cartoons are horrible. I'm basing this opinion on a total of five minutes, but today's cartoons just piss me off!

One's I can enjoy. SpongeBob Square Pants, Sesame Street, and Scooby Doo.

One's I suffer through. The Wiggles, Barney, Wow Wow Wubbzy, and Caillou.

That's the worst. My nephew used to watch that all the time. I couldn't stand when Caillou would start whining, "But I want to do it" or something like that. Ugh.

same here, Sunday through Friday. Saturdays usually start out with some PBS, then it's over to NBC and their Qubo programming.

Sponge Bob is one of the few cartoons I could enjoy today. I watched from about 3 am to 4 am that morning (marathon!) and it had occurred to me that the character's are just so crazy! But then again, I guess it's my imagination that's deteriorating . My mind can't wonder away anymore.

His best friend is the starfish Patrick. Just giving you a hard time. I think I've watcher every episode since my daughter was about 1 1/2, it's a great show.

Ohhhh! Sorry I'm getting mixed up with Squidward (?). You are right, Patrick is the starfish with the droopy voice. Squidward is who, the landlord or something? Yes, it is a great show and it has good humor for children.

I need to start watching more episodes!

SpongeBob is the ****. That's pretty much the only good cartoon they have for kids now because they got rid of all the good ones in the late 90's.

They went from Doug, Rocko's Modern Life, Rugrats, Hey Arnold, etc. to the crap they have now...I don't know what happened.

During the summer we'd watch the Cartoon Network stuff, Ben 10 and stuff like that. We don't really do the morning cartoon thing during the school year, they study before school and on weekends during the fall we watch football or they go outside. When they were younger though it was all about the Wiggles, Backyardigans and crap like that.

A lot of the stuff they like nowadays like Ben 10 Alien Force, Invader Zim (one of my all time favorites) and Looney Toons they have on DVD, so they will usually just go to their room and watch something specific like that. We do enjoy Chowder and the Misadventures of Flapjack the odd times we catch it though.
