LOL 1 year when I was younger, Read; (not married with kids) I used to play NBA live 95 and listen to Christmas music every night after work for the whole holiday season....ahhh good peaceful times...

One of my roommates started playing some yesterday...I told him that's against the rules. You have to at least wait until after Thanksgiving right?

Being Jewish i can say this with a resounding NO. I hate hearing it in every store i go into, it drives me insane. But i do love Trans-Siberian Orchestra. If stores played that instead i'd be a much happier shopper. As far as music in stores go nothing'll ever top being in a clothing store and hearing Fast Car by Tracy Chapman come on. Nothing.

I will listen to it after Thanksgiving. Last year I started hearing it too early and it took away from the holiday spirit a little.

                            Re: Christmas music

I find it helps me get into the spirit.

Also, the Grinch Stole Christmas (the actual cartoon - not movie), is going to be on Saturday, so that'll help too.

But I enjoy listening to the holiday music. Usually I prefer to get a little closer to Christmas to do that sort of thing, like past Thanksgiving, but I think it's awesome.
