I think he probably is. Too bad because he was a good poster around here IMO. I'd much rather have DC around here than some of the new guys that come in and troll and ****.

but lifetime ban for supporters and long-time members is suicide imo.

The forums managed just fine when he was banned the first time, they'll manage without him this time as well.

what about another temp-ban. kicking the lifeblood of a site off isn't too smart. people get a little chippy and get infractions, that's fine and temp ban's or whatever, but lifetime ban for supporters and long-time members is suicide imo.

I would hardly describe DC as the "lifeblood" of this site.

Just because you donate $20 to a website, doesn't entitle you to run up infractions and act like an asshat. The dude had NINE INFRACTIONS, got banned, came back, and went right back to posting the same way as if nothing happened. One slip up and he was gone. I'm sure he knew it.

There's been plenty of long members that have been banned and that will never change. The forums survived when he was banned the first time, and they'll continue to survive now.

i agree with you. most people didnt agree with him but i have the same point of view as him on quite a few things.

but if you have been warned enough times and u still go over then there is nothing u can do. u have to go.

you agree to a set of rules (TOS) and are asked to follow them. If you break them, you are warned, infracted, and if you continously fail to follow the guidelines you agreed to, then you are banned.

There's really no reason to read into it anymore than that.

Just curious, why are you so invested in this? You can always try email, XBL, an IM or something like that if you want to stay in touch with him. I wouldn't call any one member the lifeblood of this forum. Besides, most long time members and supporters know what they have to do to not be banned.

i think he means that it just feels wierd to see somone get banned after being here so long.

i dont know most of you guys but it would be wierd to see people like COUNTRYBOY, MGOBLUE, BLZER, FOOTBALLFOREVER, GEARS X8 (formerly Biohazard), fishepa, The Czar, etc... get bannded because they post pretty much everday and contribute to site. its like they are apart of the essence that is OS.

thanks, that is exactly what I meant. I never intended to say "DC is the lifeblood and we're nothing without him" I originally posted about how I've seen many long-time members bannded fairly recently. Some of them I miss their discussions and others not.

I never noticed this when I was new. LOL I don't have a vested interest in DC, especially since I'm mostly in NFL, MMA, Boxing, non-sports vids, and neighbourhood, so I don't recall many of his posts.

Anyway, as long as some people know what I was talking about. Maybe I'm too confrontational...maybe it's only a matter of time until I'm bannded

Personal grudge huh? I wish I had time to go back and see where he trumped you but I don't have the time.
