Anyone else scared of mice?

Ok...I'm looking for sympathy a bit here as I just made a fool of myself at work. I was walking in our warehouse checking on a part for a customer when a mouse ran right in front of me and I let out a girlish scream. And of course, someone heard me, asked whats wrong, and I told them, and of course, I've been getting heckled since then.

So is anyone else scared of mice? Or am I a lone coward here.

I'm scared over most critters HOWEVER I will simply whistle to myself and kinda walk around said animal.

Not so much scared, but they do kind of creep me out.

I think they are cute, but I would never actually try to pet them. Bees and spiders are my weakness. Bees are basically flying spiders which is why bees are my most feared creature of all time not to mention a lot of them travel in packs.

But, one of the big differences between bee's and spiders is that you know when a bee is around you because they make noise but, a spider is quite ao, you'll never know until it's too late. Hell, a spider could be on you right now and you wouldn't even know it....

Oh and in response to CB's question.... I probably would have done the same thing so, don't feel bad. Actually, now that I think about it I did the same thing about a month ago except I saw a huge cockroach. My girlfriend still makes fun of me

We got these hugh flying cockroaches that sometimes find a way to get into my apartment during the summer. About a month ago, I see one right before I go to bed because my cat is going crazy chasing something on the floor. My cat gives up on it and now I have to lay in bed wondering what I might have to face in the middle of the night (like what if it crawls in my ear?). I finally convince myself that there's no way it's going to mess with me while I'm sleeping cause it's more scared of me. So, after about 20 minutes I'm dozing in and out of conciousness and all of the sudden I feel something crawling up my arm. Took me about 2 seconds to realize what was going on (my worst fear that night has come true). I tried my best to smash it with my fist but instead bash my own arm and started yelling incoherently and it gets away under my bed and in a corner that I can't get to. Finally get back to sleep and wake up the next morning to find it dead in my living room (guess my cat found it finally). Those huge flying roaches are my weakness.

Now snakes...I hate snakes. I don't go hysterical but my urge to kill it is hard to control.

Between 3 cats and 2 ferrets I don't think I'll ever see a mouse again.

They're surprising because you don't notice them until they shoot by you, but I wouldn't be afraid of one if I knew it was around.

Spiders... don't **** with them. Absolutely freak me the hell out.

My cat likes to mess around with mice. She'll play with them, carry them around in her mouth, drop the, then go get them again. I've never seen her kill one, but the next day they're all kinds of mangled and dead on the doorstep. She did bring one and drop it on me as I was sleeping as a present one time. However, it wasn't dead and when I woke up and freaked out on her the mouse got away and I didn't see it again until about 2 weeks later when it was dead at my door.

That's funny. I actually saw a mouse yesterday at this breakfast conference. I spotted it and told my table, I'm not scared of mice but one guy at my table was.

It must have smelt the food in the room, it's a newer building too so it was weird to see one.

I'm not afraid of mice at all, in fact i used to have pet mice but I could see maybe screaming if one ran out in front of me, just from the surprise factor. With that being said I am terrified of spiders.

I actually did have a mice come out from behind a vending machine one time at work and just looked at me on his hind legs. I remember I just loooked at him and I said "what...i'm supposed to be scared now or something?" and he ran away. It was pretty funny actually.
