All My OS New Yorkers Step Inside For A Min...

So yea...I am taking my first ever trip to NY next weekend(New Rochelle to be exact from Dec 4-6)to visit a friend who lives up there. I'm catching the train up there and staying with my friend(female of course)has her own place so having a place to stay will not be an issue. Aside from the "obvious" ( ) that will most likely be going down, I'd like to know the spots that you recommend I go to, even though I won't have much time to cover EVERYTHING that I'd like to do. I'm not too worried about the crazies that are up there(I already know they are EVERYWHERE lol)as I have seen my fair share of them living in/around DC for most of my life but I do have a few questions for you that I hope you can answer:

-New Roc City Mall? How is it? Types of stores they have? And how are the crowds?
-Is there any good spots you recommend going on a date to there?
-I know about the trains up there but do they have like All Day passes you can buy or do you have to pay at every stop you get off at?
-MSG or Yankee Stadium? I'm looking to go to either one of them just for picture and maybe souveneir purposes but which is closer to where I'll be staying at?
-Any clubs/bars/lounges you recommend going to?(Moreso lounges or spots that have like a chill-like atmosphere)
-How is the weather up there around this time of the year? I know here in DC it's still relatively mild for the most part(50s-60s)and at night it dips down to about 40. Is it the same up there or actually colder than that?

Again, any tips and definitely some recommendations are greatly appreciated fellas.

Can't google maps and weather.com answer most these questions? With google.com answering the others?

If you are in New Rochelle, Yankee Stadium would be closer (in the Bronx) .. MSG is in the heart of Manhattan -- 34th St -- but it is also right at Penn Station

Weather is probably in the 40's - low 50's -- very cool in the evenings..

As far as "ride cards", you can purchase a Metro Card for the # of rides you would like to take.. just have to swipe it as you go onto the subway..

Basically it's $2.25 per ride (one way)... they do offer other options for unlimited rides -- a one day "fun pass" they call it is about $8.25

You really want to visit a mall?

If you like arts, go to the Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art in NYC. And the American Museum of Natural History is worth seeing.

Definitely check out Rockefeller Center. The Christmas Tree (shoud be up by then) and all the store windows on 5th avenue are dressed up for Christmas. That's also near St. Patrick's Cathedral and the NBC studios.

There are some real nice places downtown. Best thing to do is just take a walk from 14th st on down, on the East side(4th ave down to alphabet city). There will be plenty of great places to eat and chill there. All kinds of food, music, karaoke, lounges, art stuff, stores are in that area.

Good stuff Born. You got any recommendations as far as restaurants and lounges go?

I would recommend going to 42 street amd just walk up and down the blocks of downtown Manhattan. I live uptown so I usually just hang out above 96 st. If you want to travel uptown I suggest going to 125th street. It has alot of culture and really kinda describes what upper manhattan is all about.

Took this exact stroll last weekend with the lady, first time I'd ever been through there.

Yeah definitely, my girl lives between Soho and the West Village so we walked through St. Mark's and then to Tompkins Sq Park/Alphabet City. Anywhere in the Village(and east/west) is good to walk through IMO.
