"A buddy of mine..." and other stuff...

One of my colleagues at work has TONS of stories (well some of them turn out to be jokes at the end). 90% of his stories start with "A buddy of of mine...". We figured out it's like "Once upon a time" for this guy. It's almost like "My friend, Bob Sacamano..." that Kramer used to say so many times in Seinfeld.
So we've decided that "A buddy of mine" is his signature saying. And each one of us has his own signature stuff. Mine is "It's gold, Jerry, gold!" or "The best, Jerry, the best!" - that Kenny Bania from Seinfeld used to say. We got an ex-Russian-Israeli guy that always say "I'm a ****ing genius" (with a heavy Russian accent).
    Etc...

Do you guys have your/guys at work with signature sayings? I bet there are...

I love saying "Dy-no-mite!!" I don't think anyone has taken that before.

I use quite a few of the Seinfeld ones myself.

            "Good luck with ALL that!"

"Alright!" (Jerry & Elaine pump their fists in the air)

            "That's a shame!"

I say "dear lord" a lot. Like, "How could he miss that call? Dear Lord."

"Aw, too soon?" works at the end of any tasteless joke.

I'm not sure. Most people tend to observe my mannerisms and speech pattern when poking fun at me - which I find hilarious because a lot of it is true.

I don't think I have a go to phrase. Though, I do say "Merry Christmas" a lot when I do someone a favor. I like that one.

And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

I get some funny looks until they know me better and realize im hafl joking half serious. Its actually to the point where they have started saying it as well.
