I feel like the bathing in water thing is just whatever. Some animals like water, some don't. I've had dogs that hate baths and dogs that love them. It's mostly about their personality. At least that's what I figured.

The cat litter ordeal seems like just a learning experience. I would imagine that a cat would instinctually know to cover up it's leavings. It's possible that she's just too young to even realize what she's doing. It may even take her doing it by mistake to notice how much better it would be to just cover it up.

Then again, I dislike cats so what do I know?

Yeah, my dog absolutely hates water. If its raining outside he won't step out of the house if I try to take him for a walk.

I have two cats, both female both about 15 months old. One covers its business, one just chooses not to. I guess its just a thing where some will do it and some won't. Neither one wanted to use a covered box at first so I took the cover off. Once they used it I put it back on and from then on they seemed to get it. No accidents to speak of.

I guess it's just a random thing. We have a lot of cats around here, and sometimes the cats that have been outside all their lives are way cooler, and like to be around you more than some that have been inside a lot. Like for example, we got this one cat who barely had its eyes open, it was young enough to the point where you had to manually make it piss by rubbing his "area." But now that he can do his business on his own, he retains the typical cat instincts like covering it, and only take craps in litterboxes or places with dirt so it can be covered. Then theres another cat that drops bombs in the grass where he can't cover it and there is a flower bed like 5 feet away. I've even seen one drop a deuce in the middle of the road.

I can't really stand cats anymore since getting a dog and seeing how smart, clean, and loving it is compared to a cat.

But if true, the only option left is to poop on the cat, showing that you, indeed, ARE the boss.

So I was down in NYC for the weekend but apparently the roommate had some ppl over and the kitten took a nice dump in the middle of the living rom while everyone was sitting in there.

I've never had one I would describe as "nice". I may have been relieved to take one. But one I sat back & admired & thought "as far as feces goes, that's pretty good."? Never.
