Electronic picture frames...

Not sure if this is a dumb question or not, but do you guys recommend any special types of brands/models for electronic picture frames? I think I'll get that for my dad to put in his office or something for Christmas. Thanks.

The people I know with them never have them on. They seem like a great concept, but maybe it's just the people I know are weird.

One thing I would recommend is if you do get one, pre-load pictures onto it. That way it's good to go and he doesn't have to mess with it and you can get good pictures on there.

Oh... not like $100.

I found a decent one for $50 but I'm still looking at buying more.

Why don't you just get him a regular picture from?

Seems a lot easier.

Because he likes using different / newly taken picture for his screensavers so a digital picture frame with a slideshow is pretty good.

Aye - they're overly expensive, and not really used all that much. I know people who have them and hardly ever actually have them turned on.

Honestly - save your money and get him something more useful, or something he'll actually hang up and be able to look at.

Any ideas then? lol... want something to put that has some sort of 'family' value like a picture or something to put in his office which he kind of shares with his three boss-friends. I saw there that they all had other things of their kids posted on some bulletin boards but not too many of our family so I just think he'd appreciate it.
