God Bless America and may our flag forever wave in freedomI can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.Comment

Re: December 7, 1941.
Today I don't just think about all those that lost there lives 68 years ago but about my grandfather who was in the service and on his way to mass when the bombs started falling, he ran back to his barracks then to his assigned pillbox. I was lucky enough to visit Pearl Harbor when I was 11 with my grandpa it was very moving especially going to the Arizona Memorial and seeing the oil still coming from the surface. I was also able to visit the remains of my grandpas pillbox with him, he told me, "I was ready for those bloody buggers to start coming ashore."I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

We still feel the impact of this day, being born at that time or not.
We speak English, not German, Japanese, or Italian....at the very least.Comment

I visited Pearl Harbor with my Great Grandfather several years ago, I guess I was 13 or 14 then. It was myself, my Great Grandfather, my Grandpa, my Dad, and my Brother. I will never forget that visit. The Arizona Memorial, knowing that is the final resting place for many service men, is such a surreal feeling.Attached FilesI can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

Re: December 7, 1941.
Being active duty in the navy this is obviously a big day for us, as well as the rest of the country. My thanks go out to those who defended our freedom many years ago and my prayers go out to those who fight to defend what our ancestors gave their life for.
God bless our great nation and the amazing service men and women who serve it.Comment
