    Your favorite drinking (while your lounging) song

    Not like club/partying drinking, but more along the lines of lounge/chill mode drinking.

    I'll get it started. Martin Sexton - Glory Bound (live version)

    I'd never heard of this guy until I moved up to Wisconsin and a few of my boys put me on to him. I'm not always into this sort of music but this song is by far my favorite to listen to when I'm drinking and lounging.

    I couldn't find a good youtube live version, they all sucked. This one is his best version.

    I have the rest of the year off so today I'm lounging around sipping some adult beverages in my sweatpants while the girlfriend has to work. I'm being a bum, basically.

              I've never listened to Stevie Ray Vaughn in my life. I think I've heard of him but never listened. I will definitely check out those 2 links later tonight. I'm on my way out the door right now.

                      I like most of the song's on this CD. Although, all four of their albums are great, IMO.

                          I love the classic rock, but pretty much anything by these guys is F-ing awesome. Although not for everybody..

                                          Mine differ based on if it's summer or winter.

                                          Summer it's mostly southern rock and 60s-70s rock. Winter it's usually chill rap.

                                          If I had to pick one for each...

                                          Summer: Mungo Jerry - In The Summertime
                                          Winter: Black Moon - I Gotcha Opin rmx (been my chill drinking song since back in the day).

                                              Haha, good choice! To this day I bump the "I Got Cha Opin" remix off the Nervous Records compilation album. Love the way that sample of Barry White's groove "Ecstasy" is mixed into this song.

                                                  Dave Matthews is a favorite of mine. For chill mode. Speaking of Dave, I saw them at the Woodlands. MY GOD, most amazing concert ever. Pure happiness, joy, weed, and 30,000 thousand best friends........2 words can describe it for me. LIFE CHANGING!!!! It is not a concert, it is a "experience".

                                                      Hell yes, a great sample. I actually had Barry's original jam playing this morning while I was getting ready for work. Also a classic video, the opening scene when they're outside in a park in the snow and some random dude in the background slips and falls on some ice. Hilarious.
