    Do you re-gift?

Christmas time is coming and you're bound to get one "stinker"--it's the thought that counts right? So do you pawn unwanted gifts off on somebody else? Are gifts from any particular person off limits from re-gifting? parents, wife, gf, etc.

Do you re-gift that same Christmas or hold off for an upcoming birthday?

LOL u gotta be bold to re-gift on the same Christmas. I've done it before (re-gifting), but I just have a bad feeling about it nowadays.

Not if it's a gift from an office or faculty party. They serve as good fill-ins if you forget about somebody and need something quick.

Yeah i regift a fair bit. I deal with a lot of tv, radio and newspaper companies where i organise advertising for my company and they all send some type of gift that i often "pass on".

Just things like chocolates, wine etc and never to loved ones, just to those i don't really want to buy for but feel i have to out of obligation. I would never regift something i got personally from a loved one or friend even if i didn't like it but these ones i have no problem doing it with.

I try not to, but I have given some gift cards I've received to other people. I don't do it the same XMas though, I usually wait until their birthday or something like that.

I re-gifted a wallet to my wife's step brother that I received from my uncle a previous year, I failed to realize there was also a check in the wallet as part of my gift. Her step brother immediately noticed the check made out to me while checking out the wallet and gave it to me, very embarrassing.

Yeah well, I don't trust this guy. I think he re-gifted, then he de-gifted, now he's using an upstairs invite as a springboard to a Super Bowl Sex Romp!
