Going to Las Vegas next month. Suggestions on what to do?

I haven't been to Vegas since the early 90's when I was like 8 years old so I'm sure it has changed a lot. I'm taking my girlfriend next month for her birthday and was trying to decided on what we should do while we are there besides the obvious partying and gambling that will take place.

She wanted to see the show that former playmate Holly Madison does (Peepshow???) but the show is taking a break in January and February so that is a no go. Any other ideas?

For you gamblers, what are the best places to play games like Blackjack and Roulette? I don't want to play at a table with crazy expensive minimum bets?

I have heard from family and friends GORDIE BROWN is absolutely hilarious!

Games. I'd say Craps is the funnest. Blackjack you never know how the odds might go for you unless you count. I have always liked roulette and I think there is excitement to it. My brother and parents go couple times a year and they play almost nothing but craps, some roulette and slots.

Heck my dad put $150 into a penny slot and cashed out with $1,200.

You can always go out to the Hoover Dam. Have to basically take most of a day and rent a car though.

Any of the casinos work for gambling, however I like the "feel" of New York New York. Also go to the bar at Gonzales y Gonzales in NY NY and ask for Mike and order a "frogs piss". Best drink and you only need one. Don't get wrapped up into the clubs cause they are way too expensive. Watch out for people selling tickets to stuff as well and only buy from legit places. I always have to have IN N OUT while in vegas as well. Have fun its an adult amusement park. You can go to the pawn shop thats on the history channel show "Pawn Stars". I just got back Sunday with $4000 and will be back for the Super Bowl!

When budgeting the spending money, only take what you are willing to lose. Don't take $800 is cash if you are only wanting to spend $600 and would cry if you lost $800. This includes gambling and entertainment.

If you play craps or really any game, don't get pissed off and leave if your luck is bad at the start. Fam took my sis for the first time last week, they said she would lose $30 at the craps table and get mad and leave, come back and complain about them being on a hot roller.

You can't be cheap, like I said take what you don't mind losing. Can't win big if you are making $1 bets.

I was going to suggest Sapphire's until I read you're going with your GF. You can cross that off the list, lol.

If you want to party I suggest hitting up XS inside Encore. This is one of the nicest looking clubs I've ever been too.

If you're ever wanted to fire guns, hit up American Shooters. They have a huge selection of guns (machine guns, pistols, etc...) that you can pick from.

If you want to have a fancy dinner at a trendy place, go to TAO (inside the Venetian).

Outside of checking out Freemont Street, everything is located on or close to the Strip.

If you want to gamble, pretty much every casino has $5 or $10 tables.

Make sure you bring a lot of money. Almost everything is expensive in Vegas.
