To be honest, that could be the exact opposite of trust in some cases.

I think Trust makes privacy possible in a relationship. I don't and don't care to know my wife e-mail passwords or facebook passwords. The truth comes out regardless the good, the bad, and the ugly.

I find it interesting that some see the lack of privacy as a sign of trust. It's a great thing to discuss and see other's views on the subject.

I agree with this statement. I don't know any of my wife's passwords and vice versa and we don't care to know them because we TRUST each other. Plus I think I'd die of boredom seeing her and her friends' replies and photos on facebook. I don't even have a facebook account and don't care to.

I think many people relation relationship to giving up ALL of your privacy.

I talked about this before Pared. I pains me when I see dudes say that they have relinquished their privacy to their women because they "have nothing to hide." I think that is a sorry excuse of an answer and it is just their way of saying, "I don't have the balls to tell her that I want to keep my privacy."

These things include online passwords, voicemail passwords, etc. I wouldn't EVER ask a woman for her passwords and if anyone asked me I definitely wouldn't give it up.

Knowing every little detail about your spouse's day to day life is not trust, its possessive.

Everything is relative. Some women like knowing everything and some don't. Some want to sit and watch a movie with their husband and have him let her know which actress looks hot and some get hurt or offended by such talk. Every relationship just has to find a comfort zone. If you come from work and your wife asks you how your day was you can either say "fine" or tell her about the task your boss gave you, what you had for lunch, what the girl in the office next to you wore today, etc. You get in trouble when you intentionally keep things from your wife that pertain to the relationship. And if your buddy tells you he's worried about his job, health, is questioning his sexuality, whatever, and he doesn't want you tell anyone, that doesn't give you the right to run home and tell your wife. That's disrespecting your buddy and not okay. If you can't keep a secret then you need to make sure your friends are aware that anything they tell you she's going to know.

Even if a female says "I don't ca if you think another woman is hot" I don't discuss other women with her. That is what I have my boys for. No woman will ever bait me into talking about how good another woman looks. Nor do I want to hear how good you think any man looks. You ain't getting me.

Co-sign. I sure as hell don't want to sit through you gushing incessantly over Robert Pattinson or Gerald Butler. Because of that, I'm not going to do the same to you, regardless if you're 'ok' with it. Like DC says, most of the time, it's just a trap.

No there should be 0 privacy...Face it, the more secrets you have to hide, the more explaining you have to do...LOL and people wonder WHY marriage doesn't work in this day and age...In our society, marriage is nothing more than "materialistic" especially when you have people getting married 2 times in 5 years...

if you want privacy, then well..dont get married....

I cant stand people who think they HAVE to get married...

I dont even understand the logic behind cheating on your GF....Be single!!!!
