Sending A Large File?
Hey y'all I need some assistance in trying to send a large file, about 2 GB. Could anyone point me in a direction where I can do this without spending money.Tags: None -

Re: Sending A Large File?
It will take about 3 hours to download, but you can split it into a 490 MB, 500 MB, 499 MB, and 500 MB file and upload it to Megaupload.
As long as they download 49X then a 500 MB file, they should be fine. However, after the download of the 500 MB file, they will have to wait 2 hours.Comment

Re: Sending A Large File?
Try www.dropbox.com. It might work. They have a 2 GB limit, so it would depend on if it's exactly 2 GB (or lower) or not. But they don't have any limits on how much you can upload at once and they don't make you wait between uploads/downloads.
I used it to move some big files (500 MB) from one computer to another and it doesn't take incredibly long.
If you're just sending it from one computer to another and the file is not too big, it'll work fine. If you're trying to send it to someone else, you could probably just make an account that you can both access.Last edited by bgeno; 01-18-2010, 10:17 PM.Originally posted by DaImmaculateONeHow many brothers does Sub-zero running around in his clothing?
