Re: What is your favorite TV Sitcom "Episode" Ever?
I truly feel Seinfeld has leapfrogged All in the Family as the greatest sitcom of all time. Every episode was so damn good (Once it hit it's stride). It really is amazing to see how many great writers they had. I just looked up a guy the other day who wrote come classics and I see he only had like 6 episodes to his name. You'd think that someone that good would be begged to write more, but they had so many talented people.Comment

i grew up in philly and you have many options of music latino, r&b, hip hop , jazz and gospel along with country and contemporary. it just wasn't something played in my house. I don't think being black had alot to do with it ok maybe a little. my mom told me about how nuts she was when she first saw them. so she knew them but for me and where i lived it wasn't played. i always name R&B singers from back in the day and people have no clue who they were. I didn't hear my first full beatles album til i was in college and i just didn't feel it.
plus i grew up when rap was just starting to blow upComment

I'm more of a Stone than a Beatle, personally. But that's another thread.....Comment

Hard to tell, but it would have to be some Simpson's sans Seasons 3-6 and Seinfeld's towards the top of those lists. Maybe even some of The Office thrown in there.Comment

Seinfeld - The Merv Griffin Show
Fresh prince Of Bel-Air - Courting Disaster. This is in the first season when Will joins Carlton's basketball team. I LOVED the basketball coach, Coach Smiley.
Coach Smiley: (speech to the crowd before tip-off) I see new faces here tonight, faces i didn't see when we were losing. People who did not support this team in its darkest hour. I don't blame you one bit! Half the time I didn't want to be at those games. Frankly, I usually ducked out a little early.
