Let's make this a thread to just vent whatever has got you a bit wound up.

I'll start........university essays.

I finished University a while back. I did 6 years all up (degree + post grad) I am also doing something extra at the moment.

However, I do a lot of work as an education consultant / international student consultant. I also do a lot of private tutoring. This involves reading essays and editing them / providing feedback / structure.

I've done about a dozen this week. I am currently working through one on health management in asia. It's been translated from the student's native language...........and...........i've got a migraine just from reading it. It's 5000 words and I need to go through it line by line.

Bare with me for a moment fellas.........



There....I feel much better

I actually like doing this work and it's a great way to earn some good $ before me and my Mrs are on the road again. I feel better for venting.

My friggin tax returns. I filed on Jan. 17th got accepted on the 19th, was scheduled for direct deposit on the 30th and didn't get it. Then I checked the where's my refund site and it said my return is still processing and it gave me a code to give to an IRS rep. So I called yesterday and the lady had no idea what was going on, only that it was delayed and still processing. She said it could be anywhere from 1 day to 2 months before I get my refund. WONDERFUL!!

"E freaking A" let's me down again, How can they give up on NCAA Basketball 10 after such a step up this year, not to mention their refusal to release a patch for the current game. So much potential down the toilet, and no loyalty towards the customer.

The stupid crap colleges make you take just to weasel more money out of you. I am going to be a computer nerd, I have no reason to take a pyschology class or a biology class. I made a B in the pysch class, but I literally do not remember a single thing I learned, same with algebra and the poems and stories I read in english.

EXACTLY!!! Now I'm paying back loans out the butt for alot of classes that I'm wasn't even interested in. And I get reminded every month about it.

I'm at the end of my second year and so far I have yet to take a computer class. The only beneficial class I have had is public speaking, but only because I met a chick that I became really close to.

The other sucky thing about it, if you're poor you are forced to go to community college the first two years to get the "basics" out of the way.

Another rant, the "basics" are things I learned in high school. No new material when it came to biology, algebra and english.

Damm...this venting thread stops right here because "venting" is no longer important. Let's focus on you man. Your stuff is way, way more serious. If you don't mind me asking, what's the incurable disease? I only ask because my ex girlfriend got told 20 years ago she had an incurable disease and she's fine nowadays / managing it. Don't give up. If you don't want to talk about it though that's 100% understandable.

Crohn's Disease/Ulcerative Colitis. inflammation of the digestive system. Not life threatening, but majorly disruptive when it flares up. Though some of the complications are VERY bad if they occur.

I had to vent because it gets diagnosed RIGHT when we both lose our jobs so i can't get a steady med to control it. Basically every damn thing happens at once. My wife loses her job because she got in a car accident and needed to be out on disability due to injuries yet they decided she abandoned her job despite having all the doctor paperwork in order. We've lawyered up for both cases, but like i said, i want to hit someone.

Understandable bro, understandable.

Anything I tell you at this point will seem like me just saying stuff to cheer you up...but i've been through some very dark patches also and you appreciate everything so much more when you come through them. Good luck and hang in there.

thanks man. just get tired of BS happening to me in bunches. Its always been that way for as long as i can remember and a big WTF.
