    Vancouver 2010 Threads?

Not that it's that popular with alot of us around here but I'll be watchin a bit of it. (My wife will have it on 24-7) But is there a thread/sub forum for it?

The schedule seems wierd. It has the first event broadcasted before the opening ceremony? WTH? Am I reading that right? http://www.vancouver2010.com/olympic-schedule-results/

Edit; Here's the NBC schedule. The times listed are PST for my area.

I believe they created a forum for the Olympics last time.

Anyways, yes it seems weird to have an event before the opening ceremonies. Although, looking at wiki the same thing went on in Beijing (And in 2004), so maybe it's not all that strange.

Yeah, I guess it's not too strange then. Still though I was hoping my kids could see the opening ceremonies but 900pm is too late for them...heck, me too for that matter. LOL

I actually never knew there were winter olympic games until the mid-90's or so. It just wasn't popular where I came from. Summer games were always the REAL DEAL. When I visited Canada in 2008, for a moment I thought the games were about to begin in a few days. The promotion's been going on for years. But that's the first time I live in a country that hosts the olympic games, so I guess it's expected.

Looking forward to watching the ceremony.

We were there in '08 too!! Sorry about the excitement, but yeah it's like it was about to happen then! LOL

We're summer olympic folk too but since our trip my wife's been lookin forward to the winter olympics.

This pic is in Vancouver. I have a few others in my arena from my HUGE "excursion" with my entire family to the great northwest in '08.

I drove all the way up and all the way back. It's one of those times where you say...I'll never do that agian, but I'm glad we did it.
