Very nice. Let us know how it goes. I really enjoy Rogue beers so I'm interested to see how their spirits taste. On their website it says they have whiskey, several types of rum, and a couple types of gin...pretty nice.

Thanks for the replies guys. Makers was at the top of my list, so this just reaffirms my thoughts.
Hehehehehe. I too once thought that. Ignorance is bliss my friend. Ignorance is bliss. I couldn't understand why people would spend that much money on booze, but after getting a bonus at work last year and seeing a 1-Liter bottle of Johnny Walker Blue Label on sale for $160, I had to give it a try. WOW! The smoothest, most relaxing whiskey I've ever had.

Now for what I can routinely pick up, I will throw another vote in for Maker's Mark. It is a really smooth, tastey inexpensive bourbon. I still can't believe how inexpensive it is, yet how great it tastes. It works well as a sippper and a mixer. Just great stuff. I need to restock my cabinet.

Yeah i picked up a bottle the other day and couldn't believe how cheap it was. Pretty much only a few dollars more that standard Jim Beam or Woodstock bourbon and def worth it.
