There's absolutely no way I'm watching that. Sorry. I turned it off after like 20 seconds. Awhile ago my mom googled "why do people become vegetarians" and found several videos like that. She showed them to me one day and I had an extremely hard time watching them. The abuse those animals take on a daily basis is absolutely sickening. And it's ridiculous that the government does nothing about it.

I don't understand how you could watch that and not at least feel bad for what is happening to those animals.

I'll admit, I eat meat, but I've also given thought to becoming a vegetarian. That video was horrible. I feel so bad for those animals. I have seen the videos of the chickens getting abused, but I hadn't seen the rest of the stuff.

I can also say, I've seen many vegans who try to push and shove their lifestyles on everyone else, and pretty much condemn anyone who doesn't think like them, and I don't agree with that. But I think if you are a vegetarian or a vegan for health reasons, or for reasons like what happens to the animals, I think that's completely fine.

I have a dog. love him to death and would be very hurt if something ever happened to him.

I know when I'm eating bacon it comes from the pig. I never thought farmers raised pigs, waited till they died then gave them the propper grinding.

If those were cats and dogs then yea. Every time a commercial comes on about abused dogs and cats I hurt for em. But a cows, pigs, and chickens? Things I eat atleast everyother day? Sorry not shedding any tears for that.

I'm always surprised that we can have a person dieing of hunger every 4 seconds, and a child under the age of 5 dieing every 5 seconds due to hunger, and yet so many people choose to stand on a soapbox for animals instead of human beings. Maybe that extra 25% you spend on an all vegan diet can go toward Haiti relief or feeding a starving child.

Going to the grocery store, buying a bag of chicken or what have you, and eating them later is completely different. This thread isn't about whether or not you eat them. I eat them too. But the way they're treated before getting killed and shipped off to a grocery store for someone to eat is horrible and sickening to me. I mean come on. Picking the chickens up and throwing them on the ground? Stomping on their heads? Cutting off their beaks that gives them immense pain for months before they later get slaughtered? Seriously? You don't feel even the slightest bit sympathetic for them?

Hmmm....since we have to take care of all humans before we can care about any other living being...
Is there some sort of pecking order with which people we should take care of first?....I'm just wondering...since we have to prioritize.
