Hope you guys feel cool to down a guy who you've never met. Maybe cause he's a bit wacky and his points may not be 100% valid.

This day and age, what is a valid point?

The fact of the matter is, Apex/GideonPrime, has so much passion in his videos. He feels that video games, sports in particular, should mimic their real life representation.

Isn't that why some of us play sports video games? Because of what we see on TV? Or what we play in person?

The guy knows his stuff, and even if he didn't. He would never go on here and diss any of you guys for trying to contribute for the betterment of sports video games.

He's on some ALL games are evil tip now. Go to his youtube page and look for yourself.

Saying anything more will violate TOS as its religion discussion.

agreed. This only proved, to me at least, that he was doing this to get noticed and an invite, and not for the "betterment of the game".

i used to remeber how active he was on this fourms and i haven't heard any activity of him being a trooof-chaser and preaching the word of God through video games for some time now. did he fall of the planet earth or something

One thing I did find funny is he mentioned Freedom of Speech, an argument that I have seen clearly outlined over and over again.

Oh well, doesn't make a difference to me as I steer clear of the Madden forums.

I believe there were some videos/posts that diss'd several of the mod staff here, so I'm going to have to call B.S. on that statement.

I really hate that argument. I seen a guy on Cops use that the other night. The cop was trying to arrest his girlfriend and he kept walking up to the cop after the cop repeatedly told him to get away. He kept saying, "You can't arrest my girlfriend she didn't do anything." After the 5th time the cop told this guy to backup he gets arrested and the guy is like, "People died so I could have freedom of speech, your violating my civil rights!"

Which was exactly my point. People always got to the freedom of speech argument, and this is always the answer. Maybe OS should but it in bold font at the top, for people that don't want to read the TOS.

Unfortunately it wouldn't help. Anybody ignorant enough to claim that their freedom of speech is being infringed upon in the first place isn't going let anything stand in the way of their douchebaggery.
