Mobile Broadband Question
So, I just got to my new assignment, and found out that it's going to involve traveling. LOTS of traveling. About three weeks per month to be exact. Being gone that much, I find it pretty ridiculous to pay for internet for the one week per month that I would be using it. I looked into the mobile broadband thing with Sprint, and it looks good, but has anyone used it? If so, do you recommend it? Can it be used anywhere, or only in your home city? If I use it somewhere else, will I be charged extra? If not, $60 per month for internet that I can take with me sounds better than paying the same for internet that I can only use at home. If anyone can help, please let me know. Thanks.Through music, you can live forever...TEAMS: San Diego Chargers, San Diego Padres, Notre Dame Fighting IrishTags: None -

NOTE: It is only 5gb transfer per month, so yeah... I know Verizon if you bring your activated modem with you (obviously) they have a lot of hotspots around (in airports, starbucks, etc.) that you can connect to that won't use your plan.
I got lucky, and got grandfathered in. Unlimited data transfer, baby.badComment

Re: Mobile Broadband Question
You can use it anywhere. Speeds are good enough (I use torrents and play WoW without a hitch.)

Just watch the plan that you get. If you don't get an unlimited plan, it could cost a fortune.
