Oh lol, no I meant people usually think I'm some hideous hunchback or something because of the telephobia & bad anxiety stuff. My old roommate's friends were like wait, that's him? They weren't expecting me to be just a normal looking guy.

Like afraid of the telephone??? Is this something that is only tied to rotary dial phones or does it extend to cell phones also?? Trying to get a idea if it is the "phone" that is the fear or is it the fear of the "call"? Rather unique and interesting man!

Oh it's definitely the fear of the call. I have a phone, but only use it for texting (and grocery lists)

How old are you l3ulvl?

I'm thinking of growing a goatee to hide this baby face and it suits you (obligatory no homo) and you seem to have a 'young' looking face as well.

I'm 29 lol, and there's no way I can grow a goatee, the chin fuzz you see is about the extent of my growing abilities

I'm still going to try to grow one, I need to do something about looking so young. I am a nearly 32 y.o. married father of two and run a company and still get carded every time I go out.

I remember when I was in high school wishing I could grow some form of recognizable facial hair. Now that I can, I wish I didn't. Shaving gets annoying.

For the facial hair people...

Here is my brother. He's had it since I left for college, that would make him 16 at the time he started growing it.

The first one is Spring of '11, he's 17 at the time. This would be at about 7 or 8 months of growth.
The second is from February of this year, he's 18 now.
The third is from last week.

I hate shaving my throat stubble. Let that get too long and it gets painful to shave.

I use electric though, so that could be my problem.

Your brother looks like he is going on 34. Man........your brother can be pulling cougars left and right because sure don't look like an 18 yr old. I bet he can walk into the store and buy beer and won't get carded most of the time.

I've had a goatee since I was 15. Granted, I had to shave for school and whatnot, but the earliest visible goatee I had was over the summer that year.

He doesn't drink, but he has bought ammo at Walmart without being carded. Except that doesn't matter anymore.

We have joked (and he's one willing to do it though) that he should go to a store and try to purchase beer. If he isn't carded, he is to say something along the lines of, "How dare you, trying to sell alcohol to a minor. You should be fired. I'm only 18. *scoff*"

We thought about doing the same thing for cigarettes too, but we're too late for that now.

Man, I almost want to post my beard of six months after I made a wager with my son about growing it out for a year. You young ones and your 30+ baby faces. My 30 is old as hell!

Lol as long as I look 30 when I'm 55 I'll be ok with it. Knowing my luck I'll look like a baby face until I'm 45 then within 6 months I look like this


I could never rock the full beard. It's so itchy it would drive me crazy. Not to mention all the birds trying to nest in it etc...

You get used to it. Of course you have to have a face/build that a beard works with. I've shaved twice since graduating high school, and it makes me look way too young.

I rock a chin beard, last time I shaved it was October 2010 (for Reds playoffs). I can't shave it again, it doesn't look right. I've become my facial hair.

I started it going senior year of high school (2008), it was too dingy before then. Nothing worse then ratty facial hair. That's why I don't mess with a beard or mustache. Believe me, if I could grow a killer beard, I would.
