To stay on topic, new picture taken probably about 30 minutes ago -

I do not like that setup with the EOtech on the upper rail. Cant you guys take off that carrying handle?

and tuck those elbows in!

Was that taken during the March 1st-2nd snowstorm? Or during the January 20th snowstorm? It has to be one of those two dates.

The January one, I was in Charlotte at home for the March one lol.

I think we can, but it's department issued and I didn't ever ask if I could put on/take off accessories.

That day was the first time I shot it. Definitely a great gun, but there's still something about the shotgun that I love.

Probably the fact that when you put a round in the chamber, it's one of the best sounds in the world. I'll take my shotgun any day of the year.

I also can't help but love the kick of it. Shooting the rifles has its moments, but that little kick from the shotgun just feels so.....right.

Trying not to get this too off topic, but yeah, I feel you. Going to a call, just the intimidation factor that chambering the round has, has kept a lot of potential sticky situations at bay. Nothing like going to the range and shooting a tight pattern from distance.

Ok I'll jump in the shotgun talk. Yea it's an awesome sound to rack one and shoot.

When I graduate the academy I'm getting one for my house. I hope somebody doesn't break in for their sake.

We carry them in our cruisers, do you guys?

Yep... I carry a Remington 870 Tactical Shotgun w/ Surefire light and side-saddle. I love it.

baumy, wash that cruiser.. looks a little dirty, haha.

Hey man, I have the SUV. It's not too bad, but as of now we have around 8 inches of snow on the ground. The difference 72 hours makes up here....

Besides, some kid is coming in to do community service in a week or so. He can wash it :wink:

this may seem like a stupid question but why do police in North Dakota need a Semi-Automatic rifle in their cars?
