    That is amazing.

    What I learned:

Annoying insects like the flea and bed bugs look just as annoying and disgusting up close.

Cooler insects like the bee and the wasp look pretty cool up close.

The fly looks like it'll beat up every insect if they were all the same size and weight.

    Spiders are freaky.

They definitely look otherworldly. Glad they are not our size.

The detail makes these things look surreal.

If I were going to be one of those bugs, I'd be the turtle ant. That guy is ready to raise hell!

The honey bee is weirdly cute with its fuzzy head and big eyes... icanhascheezburger style.

The dog flea is freakin weird, and the Jungle Ant looks like it would make robot Mech noises when it walks around.

I want a plush doll of the honey bee.

and the jumping spider just looks angry.

Yeah I had one of those on my screen door last summer and it was big enough that I looked it in the damn eyes. Looked just like that guy in the pics... Hairy little jumping bastids scare the crap out of me sometimes.

Nice stuff. I'll probably show my biology classes those tomorrow. We talk about SEMs and TEMs weekly.

Have you seen the video of those giant Japanese wasps murdering the hell out of a colony of bees? Craziness:
